NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS AND PATRONS:
Entries can be removed after 4:00 pm on Wednesday. Animals can removed after 10:00 am Wednesday. Open Class and 4-H premium money will be paid from 11:00 - 1:00 pm on Wednesday.
Exhibitors are expected at all times to give necessary attention to what they have on exhibition and, at the close of the fair, take charge of the same. Diligence will be used by the Superintendents and Officers to prevent loss or injury, but in no case will the Association be responsible for accidents occurring during the fair.
All the animals must be exhibited at such time and place as the superintendents may direct.
All exhibitors showing in departments limited to the county must have been a resident of the county for at least 60 days.

Feeder calves can be entered Tuesday morning and taken home Tuesday night.
All other cattle must be in their stalls by 12:00 noon Monday.
Animals which have won premiums in the same class two successive years are ineligible to further competition.
All cattle shown must be the property of the exhibitor at least sixty days before the fair.
In making entries be sure to give exact letter of class, lot number, and number of premiums for which you wish to compete.
The ages of cattle will be computed as follows: Beef breeds, Sept. 1, except the division between Senior and Junior Yearlings and calves, which shall be February 1st.

hatched during 2023. These terms “Cockerel”, “Pullet”, and “Chick” mean all birds hatched during 2024.
Please note the system used in placing the premiums

will be judged separately and awarded ribbons ONLY. Then
the three best in each breed will compete for premiums and be judged in one class.

LIVESTOCK SHOW

Open to 4-H club members enrolled in 4-H projects in Greeley County and active FFA members belonging to a chapter their sponsoring organization and should have been under the control of the exhibitor for at least 60 days. Project records required by the sponsoring organizations must be up to date at showing time and presented if called for. Only members may show animals in the livestock classes. Owners of animals must exhibit animals unless excused by the superintendent. If a member has two animals in the same class, he/she must have another member show the second animal. Animals must be entered at the fair by noon on Monday to be eligible for support bids at the sale Wednesday. Market beef animals must be weighed by 12:00 noon.

LIVESTOCK RULES
1. Any livestock exhibitor who is found to have tampered with or entered an exhibit that is not eligible for exhibit or does not abide by fair rules will forgo any premiums, ribbons, or prizes won.
2. Livestock will be expected to comply with health regulations stipulated by the fair board.
3 Any 4-H animal which presents a serious threat to the safety of fair observers or participants can be removed at the superintendent's discretion.
